CHARITY CRAFT FAIR BOOKINGS
Our fairs at St Mary le Wigford church in Lincoln focus on two words;.
CRAFT - every stall must sell things they have made. No bought in goods or selling services. Obviously you can buy in the basics, but you need to have given them added value.
CHARITY - every stallholder should give a donation however small to a charity of their choice. This is to lower the Lincoln council levy on market stalls within their area, in line with a statute from the middle ages!
Our fairs are held every 3rd Saturday, starting at 10am and finishing at 4pm in the summer and 3pm in the winter. The cost per day is £15 which includes, council fees, administration, hall costs and insurance. Anyone booking 8 fairs may claim a discount of £15 by using the code GMOG 847 at the checkout.
The 6 fairs in September are part of the open churches festival and will be in conjunction with the travelling medieval fair, so numbers will be limited.
At the present time the fairs will be organised in line with government guidelines of social distancing, etc. A one way system will be in use, masks may be worn and no more than two people should be behind each stall. We hope this will be relaxed as the year goes on!
Details will be sent out the week prior to each fair, but you should note;
1.that there is very limited parking except for unloading and loading, and vehicles should be moved to a nearby carpark.
2.that even in summer the church can be chilly, and you should be ready for this!
